Da ich das hier vorgestellte Plugin für die automatische Update Installation von WordPress auch nutzen möchte, habe ich mir heute mal das Plugin vorgenommen:
In der Datei wordpress-automatic-upgrade.php muss folgende Zeile ausgetauscht werden:
Zeile 783
#$downloadURL = ‘http://wordpress.org/latest.zip’;
$downloadURL = ‘http://static.wordpress-deutschland.org/de-edition/latest.zip’;
Dann wird statt der englische Originalversion die deutsche Version geladen und installiert.
Das Update mit dem Plugin hat problemlos funktioniert, genauso als wenn man es per Hand macht. Jeder Schritt wird einzeln per Kontrolle durchgeführt. Und das hat ca.30 Sekunden gedauert, dann war das Update eingespielt.
