<guid

We are also not keen to release products with a very-limited feature set. In this case we were worried to miss some situation where the average user would be surprised to find data unusable or inconveniently accessible, and that's why we decided to remove that feature just before launch. We clearly underestimated the number of customers with setups that rely on several partitions.
As far as future upgrades go, we are now working to fix rare (but annoying) issues a few of our customers have experienced. We'll finish that urgent task soon, and then we can work on adding this feature and a couple of other good ideas that have surfaced.
Regarding your specific question about hardlinks, I'm not sure how that would work. Not only are they difficult to create in Mac OS X, but it is also not possible (as far as I know) to create a hard-link across device boundaries. Do you have experience otherwise?
If you'd rather wait to use Squeeze until the feature you need is ready, we completely understand - just let us know and we'll refund your order until then.
Finally, you are right that this limitation should be more apparent in our website. We will update our FAQ with this information.
Thanks a lot for your feedback, it is very useful and will certainly help us create a better product.

I regret that you have been somewhat disappointed about this limitation, although I do of course understand it.

We are also not keen to release products with a very-limited feature set.
